Overview
About Me
Teresa, 24: A fine mix of serious and ridiculous.
A curious cocktail of thoughfullness, spontaniety and genuinity sprinkled with summer, smiles and barefootness.
I could also say a dreamer of exploring, of understanding and of improving.
Open to whats new, to share and free (veeeery eager) to fly. A teacher and a learner every single day.
Extremelly attached to my 4 pawed daughters - if they don't like you, I won't either.
Appreciating every little detail of (the already happening) life and always thankfull to what I have, who I have and what I achieve.
Studying to be a scientist and save the planet!
I could say 99% of the time hungry and the other 1% sleeping.
Ps: the less things you own, the less problems you have.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I refuse to leave this planet without exploring every little corner and detail.
Although I fight not to have any roots, sometimes its difficult to get where you want in life without sticking to a place. So, whenever I can't go to places, people are the best way of traveling. Getting to know minds, cultures, languages, cookings, late night talks.
Providing it to others when I do travel and getting to do it in a less touristy way too. I want to know a "ugly restaurant to the eyes, but very good to the stomach", as I did once with a now friend, but by then local, in Napoli, and not a 5 star tripadvisor restaurant.
Interests
I like profound conversations that you can have with a stranger in a plane.
The sea and the smell of freshly cut grass.
Terrified of clowns.
Hate condescendency and when people chew napkins.
Often get sleep drunk, if it makes any sense at all ahah.
I clean to relax, but my mind is mainly untidy.
I'm split into dualities all the time.
Want to know really get to know my parents before they leave - they are the best link to your past and the most likely way to know yourself in the future.

Music, Movies, and Books
The unbearable lightness of being <3
Water for elephants, Les uns et les autres, the boy in stiped pyjamas. Lack of memory at the moment but there are so many that it makes it hard.
Post rock, some jazz, alternative rock. I'm not very into putting things into boxes, I like good music and to know more music. My earphones are on pretty much everytime, except when I'm in nature.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Have I done something amazing?
I've assisted a PhD project studying gene flow in black howler monkeys in fragmented habitat, bla bla bla.
Basically watched monkeys, collected their poop for 13h/day in the jungle.
Teach, Learn, Share
I would love to learn how to cook sushi.
Learn how to speak italian, cause well I don't speak one word of swedish ahah.
I can share portuguese culture, especially foooooood :)
Introspective and mindfullness convos.
