Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Trying to find a temporary place for myself and my cats to stay while I work out apartment plans with a friend.

I live with my parents, who will not allow my cats into their home, and the guy who is watching them has informed me that he is allergic, so I need to find somewhere cat friendly to stay for 2 weeks to a month while I look for apartments.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music-wise, I've been on a Klaxons kick recently. I also like Electric Six, Muse, Diablo Swing Orchestra, Studio Killers, Sadus, Testament, and a lot more. My music taste is really all over the place. Variety is the spice of life, I guess.

As for movies, I usually go on Netflix and watch those really awful budget torture movies because I have no taste and I just need something to be on in the background while I do my art. I also like Star Wars.

With books, I mostly read short stories because my ADHD can provent me from sitting down and reading for a long time. I really like the work of Harlan Ellison (I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream).

Less "basics" as in "still life" and more like "intermediate" as in "color theory, silhouette, composition, anatomy tricks, etc" AKA stuff that's useful for illustration and character art!
