Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Asking others to be brave and let a wonderful girl on a tight budget to make their couch her home for a wee bit. I will be doing the same someday when I have a humble abode.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I couch surfed for my first time in Skagway, Alaska 2013. It was a wonderful experience, great way to connect with like-minded individuals or to simply help another traveler out.

Interests

I love to travel, hike, backpack, yoga, vipassana meditation, nature photography, practice my spanish, recreational tree climb, and meet others along my adventures.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy all types of music and movies as well, sometimes I like a good horror flick. I like reading books about spirituality, biology, I'm currently reading about Nelson Mandela and trying to get through Diana Gabaldon's Cross Stitch series (following the show!).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have been through a plethora of amazing experiences and feel grateful for them. From bungy jumping in New Zealand, summiting glacier peaked mountains, researching the Andean Condor in Argentina or sitting down for a meal in a Nicaraguan home.... I enjoy the small things in life as well. Walking down the street and saying hello to a friendly cat or watching a fly rub its eyeballs lol it's all pretty amazing.

Teach, Learn, Share

Ever look at the amazing lives of LICHENS? Lichens are not plants, they are a symbiotic relationship between fungi and an algal partner. They can live pretty much anywhere. If you would like to learn more about them when we meet I would be more than welcome to share my knowledge. :-)

Countries I’ve Visited

Chile, Costa Rica, Nicaragua

Countries I’ve Lived In

Argentina, New Zealand, Panama, United States
