About Me

I am a 30 year old male with a love for culture, music, and adventure! I am curious about what's going on in a new location and try to soak up everything I can about the area and what the locals love to do. I would call myself an observer/ artistic individual with a love for keeping active and trying most things in life at least once. I am open to new adventures and would love to always know where the best music venue is in town along with the best beers, the entertainment areas, festivals, and the general gathering areas, etc.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I heard about couch surfing from word of mouth and thought it was a great idea! It reminds me a lot of what my job is back in Vancouver: meeting strangers, learning some new things, sharing laughs and travel stories, and looking at some amazing sights. I am not opposed to hostels, but I would prefer to be around locals to enhance my experience; getting to know new areas, cultures is one of the reasons I love travelling!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music- I am huge into music and the arts, and am open to all genres, but mainly gravitate towards funk, trip hop, progressive rock, alternative

Movies- Psychological Thrillers, Documentaries, Sci-Fi, Mysteries/ Detective movies, etc

Books- Love to read more non fiction than fiction.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I would have to say that my job here in Vancouver opens me up to many amazing places, people, and things in general, but if I were to go off one highlight I would have to say it was rock climbing in Mexico and the Southern States with my good friend/ adventure buddy. Just being on top of the world and immersed in the silence of nature was just the meditation I needed. I still love the hustle and bustle of the city life though!

Teach, Learn, Share

I am willing to learn anything you want to throw at me: languages, good food, good spots!

What I Can Share with Hosts

-Things about my home and native land: scenic spots, entertainment, culture, etc.
- I am a good storyteller, and can make good impressions of people.

Countries I’ve Visited

Mexico, Thailand, United States
