ABOUT ME
My days are filled with working, practicing music, mostly trumpet and sitar these days, other strings too, cooking, hanging around with friends, stretching and having a good time. People say I don't talk much, but that's not always the case. I am really comfortable in silence though, and I guess that shows. But I love having conversations about anything and consider myself pretty imaginative in that regard. I like contemplation, and am even more into action. I like being outside hiking or playing or doing anything. I am into salvaging and try not to buy things if i don't have to (food, clothes, etc.), but don't worry I dress well and eat well (I guess those are pretty subjective statements).
PHILOSOPHY
Everybody try be nice to everybody else.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I want to host people, get to know all the wonderful souls out and about in the world.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have hosted a good number of surfers in my old house, and have had wonderful times with all of them.
Interests
I love to play and listen to music, of all different types. Forests and rivers and running are good. Meeting people from different cultures, which is anyone. Making excellent food with friends or strangers is, I have found, one of the most rewarding experiences.

Teach, Learn, Share
I play a lot of music, and am always excited to share what I know and learn from others; I have picked up some knowledge of music cultures outside of our own such as Hindustani classical, Middle Eastern and Indonesian musics, which can be somewhat illuminating when juxtaposed with one's own culture (if they are not one of the above, or really even if they are). I am always looking to expand my knowledge about music cultures and give away the little bit that i have learned, as I think it can be very valuable in terms of our human growth.
I am always looking to learn language! I know Spanish and some Greek, but am always interested in languages differences, even dialectal or slang language I find fascinating and am always ready to learn about, impart and discuss.
