I'm a year old father of two. My divorce is just about complete and our home will be sold hopefully by the end of August.
While I was excited to be a father, I had hoped to see Europe and the east coast before parenthood.
Now I'll have that opportunity , and a friend recommended this website.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The sale of my home will net me some equity, but not enough to stay in nice hotels everywhere I go.
More to the point, I'm interested in meeting the people where I travel, and having done a lot of couch surfing traveling with bands, I know I'm comfortable meeting new people.

Punk rock and metal make for the bulk of my music collection.
I read a lot of rock n roll autobiography (I loved the Keith Richards bio).
Similarly, I tend to watch documentaries and true story films.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Cheesy as it may sound, the most amazing thing I've done is raise two great kids.
Surviving hitch hiking so much at such a young age seems pretty amazing now, too.
