Overview
About Me
I am an american currently studying biology as a masters student in Munich. I can be a bit shy when I first meet someone, but it doesn't long for me to begin opening up. I enjoy meeting new people (and animals!) and learning about different cultures/languages.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm nearing the end of my masters studies, and I'm hoping to continue on my european schooling by pursuing a Ph.D somewhere here. In order to find a city that I really enjoy I'm trying to travel as much as possible and get a good feeling for each city (since Ph.Ds typically take 4 years or so, I want to make sure I love the city). Of course, one of the best ways to explore a city is with assistance of someone who currently lives there! So even if you're not able to come explore the city with me, just recommending places for me to visit would be a great help! Plus, it would be nice to know someone once I (eventually) move!!

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm pretty open with music, books, movies, etc. I tend to like most everything (although I do really enjoy something upbeat and movies with happy endings)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
For me, taking the leap to move to Europe in order to continue my studies was a pretty amazing thing to do. Thankfully, I am yet to be disappointed :-)
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm always willing to help others improve their english/german, and would looove to also be introduced to the language and culture of whatever country I'm visiting (and I often try to learn as much as I can about the country I'm going to be visiting)
What I Can Share with Hosts
My company (if you have the time). I'm also more than willing to help out in any way that I might be able to!
Countries I’ve Visited
Czech Republic, France, Netherlands
