About Me
Hi there, my name is Terrence and if you're not a happy person, we're not going to get along. I do my best to constantly remind myself that I can learn something new from everyone I encounter. I am a very easygoing, happy-go-lucky person and I almost always have a smile on my face. I can be kind of a goof at times, and I try whatever I can to help those around me smile and laugh. I absolutely love being lost in new cities, and going on beautiful hikes in the mountains or along the shores of the oceans! I love meeting new people and being introduced to new cultures and customs. I even just love rediscovering my own hometown of Saskatoon every once in a while. I am very neat and organized. I am simultaneously spontaneous and yet oh so calculated. I love to share, and listen to great travel stories and adventures. I'm always looking for new places to visit and see. I absolutely love dogs, so if you have one I am sure we will get along great! I'm also more than okay with cats. I feel like I am very versatile. I can fit in with the quietest or the loudest people, and I am usually really good at making people feel comfortable one on one. I am a completely open book, all you have to do is ask the question and turn to the page :)
Philosophy
The question that you don't ask is one in which you may never learn the answer. Everyone knows something you don't.
"I have found that if you love life, life will love you back" -Arthur Rubinstein

Music, Movies, and Books
Comedies and superhero movies are my favourties. Spiderman is my favourite superhero. A good comedy is always my first choice.
I won't lie I haven't seen many "classics" but that certainly doesn't mean I don't want to. Maybe we can sit down and watch one of your favourite classics together!
Music I typically like a little bit of everything except screamo and harder rap or metal. Some of my favorite artists include: James Bay, Ed Sheeran, OneRepublic, Keith Urban, Dallas Smith, Parachute, Fallout Boy, Gavin James (these fluctuate a lot)
As far as books I've really fallen in love with psychology books this past year. Anything that can help me better understand not only myself, but others around me as I firmly believe life is all about who you know.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have survived a heart operation which is not something many 25 year olds can say!
Spent 2 months traveling through New Zealand and Australia, and about 7 weeks taking trains all around a good chunk of Europe!
Teach, Learn, Share
Dance is something I absolutely love to do. I am always open to trying new kinds of dances, and teaching country dances that we do in the Canadian prairies!
Maybe a guitar tune or a song I've written (if you're lucky). I love to learn new languages, even if it's just a few common phrases. In all seriousness Canada doesn't really have its own kind of cuisine, we just eat everything else, but I love to learn new dishes, and try new foods, and new drinks as well :)
What I Can Share with Hosts
My positive attitude, happiness and a good laugh :) I am also more than willing to help out with some chores around the house if you would like!
