ABOUT ME

I am open to experiencing a great time, and enjoy showing others what my area has to offer.
I have lived in and traveled throughout the US, Europe, and Asia, visiting many countries.
Currently, I am in the sunny state of Florida, USA. I am a bit of a foodie, and enjoy cooking. I love hiking, the beach, the mountains, traveling, kayaking, sailing and camping.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Currently I am unable to host. I will begin hosting as soon as my home near the Emerald Coast is built. It will be across the bay, in Freeport, FL and will offer an incredible view of woods and bay.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

A few years ago, I had the good fortune to embark on a five-month road trip, driving from north central Florida, to northern Oregon, visiting in excess of thirty Intentional Communities. In addition to the IC experience, I enjoyed camping, and staying in Hostels as well. I also traveled to Alaska (didn't drive there), exploring Anchorage, Talkeetna, and Bethel - a town 400 miles west of Anchorage on the tundra ~ intense!

Interests

I love anything outdoors, and have a kayak problem! Florida's various springs, lakes, rivers, and beaches, makes it the perfect place to kayak.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing was living in New Delhi, India, when I was in my early 30's.
White water rafting on the Ganges, cave tubing in Belize, touring the western U.S., Grand Canyon, PCH, Sedona, AZ, Moab, UT, etc....

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to play my didgeridoo and djembe. I'm also an Esthetician (skin care specialist). I attend drum gatherings, belong to several Meetup groups ~ love socializing as well as quiet time.
