I won't stop traveling until I've seen the sun set on every coast. ;) And I'm setting off to do just that in January 2016. I quit my 8-5 accounting desk job and am now planning one to two years of full-time traveling! I can't wait to see how many awesome couch surfers I can meet around the world!

ABOUT ME

I'm an adventurous, outgoing person with a thirst to experience the world and give back whenever possible. I definitely caught the travel bug in 2006 and haven't stopped since. Meeting new people -- especially fellow coushsurfers -- and experiencing new cultures, languages, foods...it's what I love the most! (I have Instagram and a blog where I think you can learn more about me if you are interested.)

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love to meet new people. I think everyone has something positive to bring to the table -- something to add to your life. The fun part is getting to figure out just what that thing is!

I have hosted and been hosted around the world and have had nothing but wonderful experiences.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Met the coolest New Zealand chick while couchsurfing in Ethiopia, had an amazing experience with the sweetest Icelander ever, and *kind of* saw the northern lights with a nice Swede.

Interessen

Anything active and outdoors. I really enjoy being healthy and working out, wether that be skiing, hiking, biking, climbing, running...

Meeting new people, learning new languages, experiencing new cultures, going new places. (There is a theme there...)

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Hiked a volcano in Guatemala that errupted two days after I left, went cliff diving in Thailand, repelled down canyons in the rainforest in Costa Rica and hiked the jungle in Brazil. Surfed in Peru, went on a safari in Kenya and a hot air balloon ride over Tanzania. Climbed on the pyramids in Egypt, illegally scalped tickets for the Olympics in Beijing, and had two cobras hung around my neck in India...

Was ich mit Gastgebern teilen kann

I am super tidy and organized - almost to a fault - so one thing I will NOT be sharing with any host is a mess of any kind. (I'm also more than happy to SHARE my super cleaning and organizational skills!)

I'm pretty much up for trying anything at least once, so I can definitely be an adventure partner! I can share lots of laughs, good story telling, a meal, too many pictures...
