I have been living in Philadelphia for the last ~2.5 yeas (I'm originally from Michigan), I moved there for work after finishing my degree in engineering and have since started working on my Master degree. I love traveling and am sad that I hadn't been out of the US since moving to Philadelphia. I have done a fair amount of travel within the US, but I am very happy to be back in Europe again, going amazing places and meeting amazing people. I am already dreading the return to my normal life, but I am making the most out of this trip!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have a few friends who have had very positive experiences couch surfing and introduced me to it. Since joining I've had nothing but positive experiences myself. Couchsurfing allows me to meet people, gain perspective, and have experiences I never would otherwise.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Oldies, Indy, Pop, Rap, Rock, Electronic, Country, literally almost anything, and nothing beats a live performance by a good band.

Movies: Star wars, The Prestige, Tarantino films, and to many others to name

My All time favorite book series is the Wheel of Time. I've mostly read Fantasy and Sci-fi, though I have made my way through a good number of the classics, as well as many other random books. Currently reading The People's History of the United States. It might not hold a lot of interest if you aren't American, but every US citizen should read it.
