About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I really want to play. It seems fair to me, I've spent so many years trying to achieve. Now I just want to play and to experience life to its fullest.
ABOUT ME
I'm a seeker. For years I was a striver, but then I achieved. Now I am open to new experiences and opportunities for growth. I guess the real "juice" in my life is connection with other people
I am pretty successful over the past few months at eliminating red meat, eggs and poultry from my diet. I am heavy into rice and vegetables. I am trying to subdue my desire for sweets.
I am married, but separated, and have two grown children.
Mostly, I am tolerant and accepting of anyone except the extremely judgemental and unkind. I couldn't have anyone in my life who kicked their dog or cat.
I am a retired U.S. Public Health Services Officer (rank 0-6, naval ranking system, Captain). I am both educated and uneducated.
PHILOSOPHY
I love to share experiences with people. I don't have a lot of barriers to people unless they are very judgemental, negative or generally unkind. I consider myself to be a considerate and kind person.

I want to go back to Paris and also to the Hermitage Museum in Russia. Tai chi, yoga, pilates, and swimming at a local hot springs are also interests of mine.

Music, Movies, and Books
My Dinner with Andre was an interesting film for me. I participate in a book club and am now reading Westward Woman, a story of a woman who walked the Donner trail about thirty years ago. She lives locally and will be at our book club meeting when we meet next.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I went to Burning Man this year which was amazing.
The Taj was so beautiful it was almost an emotional experience for me.
Teach, Learn, Share
I taught conversational English for a short time in China a few years ago. I could help people to learn to speak English.
I spent several years in solo practice in a logging community in Oregon in the '80s. Although, I am not a physician, but worked as both a nurse practitioner and physician assistant, I do know a considerable amount about general family practice. I could teach this in a developing country especially.

Austria, Cambodia, China, Costa Rica, Czech Republic, France, India, Japan, Mexico, Netherlands, Panama, Peru, Thailand
