About Me

I'm a Bay Area native, journalist and DJ. I play hard, work harder and try to go on as many cool assignments as possible. I've got strong Northern California roots, but I want to travel as much as possible.

While I'm pretty extroverted, I'm an observer by trade. I love to look, listen and explore, and think taking a step back to soak it all in can be just as good as diving in head first.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've surfed around the world and met some fantastic people. Traveling wouldn't be nearly as exciting if it weren't for the folks I've met/surfed with. My roommate and I regularly host friends and friends of friends. I would love to get more involved in my local CS community as well :)

I have nothing but positive things to say! My hosts and other CS folks I've met up with were absolutely wonderful, hospitable, funny and intelligent people.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm a huge fan of soul, early R&B, funk, hip hop and classic rock. If you want wax esoteric about wax, I'm your girl! I also love going to the movies and am a voracious reader - recommendations welcome.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I flew in a B-24 bomber plane once, it was so cool to be among all this WWII history. Visiting Israel was one of the most enriching (and surprisingly so) cultural experiences I've ever had.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Positive energy, a willingness to learn (about everything!), stories, and too many bad jokes. I've also got some cooking and dishwashing skills :)

Countries I’ve Visited

Canada, Costa Rica, France, Greece, Israel, Italy, Mexico, Netherlands, Spain, Turkey, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In

United States
