Hello my name is Tersia I am a 23 year old female that is very very eager to travel the world and see the places through local eyes ( if you are too busy I would even appreciate some advice on places to see) I am very much a people's person and I would probably be described by my friends as happy, bubbly, funny, outgoing and open minded.

I am an Audiologist by degree and profession, that is someone who works with peoples hearing and related disorders. I absolutely love what i do and working with people and helping them is the best part of my day.

I enjoy many things, from reading a good book with a glass of wine with some classical music in the background to staying in clubs until the sun comes up. I would say my interests are very versatile!

I love taking photos of people/things on my film camera and I am quite good at crafts and I will bring you something I made in my country if you will have me :)

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Because of my very demanding degree and my year of internship(2020) I have dedicated the first 6 months of 2021 to travelling before starting my Masters.

My bestfriend and I have decided to travel and backpack through Europe but because of the South Afrian currency (Rand) being very weak to the Euro we decided to give Couchsurfing a go so our budgets can stretch a little :) .

I would love to tell you stories about my country and teach you phrases in a few of our 11 official languages we have in South Africa.

We are two very considerate human beings and would never abuse your hospitality should you choose to host us.

Spent a night on a wooden yacht with a bunch of travellers who changed my persective on life as the sun rose over the Indian Ocean.

Played with lion cubs.

Skinny dipped with 20 + backpackers in El Nido.

Jumped off a boat in Mozambique and swam with whalesharks.

Fitted a 2 year old with hearing aids and saw a life change right before my eyes
