About Me

Hi there! I’m a 30-year-old girl from Czechia, currently living in Canada. I’ve been here for almost three years, enjoying life in the beautiful ski resort town of Whistler, British Columbia. My love for the mountains brought me here, and I’ve been captivated by everything this place has to offer ever since.

I’m a physiotherapist by profession, but here in Canada, I mostly work as a massage therapist at the Four Seasons Hotel. I love the flexibility of seasonal work, which gives me the chance to explore the world during the off-season. Traveling and experiencing new cultures is a big passion of mine, and my dream is to see as much of the world as possible.

In Whistler, you’ll often find me outdoors—whether I’m skiing, mountain touring, or just getting lost in my thoughts in the middle of the mountains. I cherish the time spent with friends and always seek out new adventures.

I’m still on a journey to discover my biggest dream and figure out if and where I want to settle down one day. Until then, I’m enjoying every moment and making the most of life’s adventures!

My favorite quotes:
"Take only memories, leave only footprints."
“The world is a book, and those who do not travel read only one page.”
“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did do.”

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m here to meet new people, share stories, and experience the world from a local’s perspective. I’m excited to connect with like-minded travelers and hosts who share a love for adventure and exploration!

"You have to taste a culture to understand it."

Interests

Some of my friends think I’m a bit crazy because I have a real passion for adrenaline and I’m rarely afraid to try new things. One of my absolute favorite activities is skiing down an empty slope at full speed. There’s nothing like the thrill of feeling the wind rushing past and being completely in the moment, focused solely on the ride and the pure joy of the experience.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I’ve been fortunate to have many incredible experiences in my life, but some of my favorites include hitchhiking through Spain, sleeping on a secluded beach, camping in Death Valley, climbing in Mallorca, and swimming with turtles in Egypt. I’ve soaked in the sights and sounds of Las Vegas, admired the rooftop views in Los Angeles, and wandered the streets of Rome by night. Watching manta rays in Hawaii, exploring the rugged landscapes of Patagonia, and going on road trips across the USA have been unforgettable adventures. I’ve also enjoyed snowmobiling and having sleepovers in the mountains—each experience adding to the thrill of exploring the world!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share my language skills and travel tips from my own experiences. I'm also happy to teach you how to cook some delicious Czech meals, and I can give lessons in skiing, snowboarding, and playing beach volleyball. On the flip side, I would love it if someone could teach me how to dance! I'm probably the worst dancer out there, but I'm eager to learn and have a good time.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love showing people around Whistler and exploring the beautiful areas of British Columbia. Whether it’s going for a drink, sharing stories and adventures from my travels, or talking about interesting things from Czechia, I enjoy connecting with others. I also love cooking and would be happy to prepare a meal for you. I’m always up for having fun with optimistic people!

Unfortunately, I can’t provide accommodation right now as I live in a shared house, but I’m happy to meet up and share some good times together!
