Hello! My name is Tes and I have the travel bug. I graduated from my Bachelors in Animal Behaviour in 2023, worked for half a year afterwards, and am planning to travel until I hopefully start my Masters degree in International Humanitarian Action. Just finished hitchhiking across Canada and am now also addicted to hitchhiking! Went off to Cyprus to save the turtles :P (lots of digging), then explored Turkey, Kurdistan, and Oman. Am now back home for a bit trying to recover my body from all the damage I have caused it from climbing, cliff jumping, boxing and some other reckless behaviours. I love going on adventures, especially outdoors. I’m all about experiencing and growing.

Apart from that I love experiencing new cultures. I really enjoy trying to live in a place, getting to know the people and learning from others. It’s an amazing world out there andI love exploring it. I’ve been doing a lot of fast travelling lately and am ready to slow it down.

Through hitchhiking and just being a lost traveller (the go-with-the-flow approach) I have opened myself up to so much kindness. I am happy to say that I have seen how good the world is and the people in it. I am able to trust the universe :) I am eternally grateful for this and I consider myself to have a debt to this world, which I will spend my life trying to repay.

Furthermore I like to think I’m quite funny, I love to laugh really. I’m impulsive, whole-hearted, critical, philosophical, opinionated but open-minded too. I rarely enjoy small talk and I like to get straight to the deep stuff.

Oh, and I also love anything art. I am currently working on a poetry book and on making jewellery. I’ve spent a good few years painting, drawing, and whatnot.

Most of all I believe that we should all follow our passions and strive to be good people - then maybe the world will turn out okay

It’s an amazing international community of people that just want to travel. Be that through hosting or surfing. I feel really safe and at home in a community where people share my passion. We get to inspire each other and share our experiences which I think is really beautiful. It makes travelling accessible to everyone.
