About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Smile and the world will smile with you !

ABOUT ME

I am a person who enjoys life to the fullest; every single part of it.
I like to learn new things, especially new languages. Latin America is my continent! Love the people, lifestyle, climate, music, food. Although I have only visited a very small number of Latin American countries I know that one day I will pack my backpack and travel all of them.

PHILOSOPHY

Love life, engage in it, give it all you’ve got. Love it with a passion, because life truly does give back, many times over, what you put into it
Maya Angelou

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Actually I just started to make use of the website of Couchsurfing, although I had made a profile some years ago when I was backpacking through Mexico. Never ended up couchsurfing myself though and I also was never able to host someone since I never had my own place with a possible couchsurf space.
Now that I am living in Rio de Janeiro I got to know that the couchsurfing- community here is quite big! Always good to get to know more people who enjoy this marvelous city!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the most special moments was visiting my family in Surinam in 2011. It was the first time I saw my grandfather and maaaaany other familymembers. It was such a warm feeling and very special to know that I have such a big and wonderful family. Despite of the distance I know that they will always be there.
