Overview
About Me
Grown up in the Welsh countryside, surrounded by ocean & mountains. Final year Human Geography student (undergrad) at Cambridge University; lover of nature, being outdoors, exploring, meeting like-minded people. I travelled around a few Indonesian islands and Central America (Costa Rica, Nicaragua) a couple years ago and caught the travel bug..
I love cooking, running, anything sea-related (learning to surf & I've sailed small dinghies), writing; my head's always stuck in a book. I'm also learning aerial circus skills - hoop and silks are my favourite! Hoping to one day run away with the circus..
I spend most summers working at underground music festivals around the UK. Bringing happy sparkly people together in big sunny fields, listening to music !!
Passionate environmentalist and looking to learn about low-impact living, permaculture, alternative lifestyles, self-sufficiency.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Travelling around BC, Canada for July and August 2018. Mainly Vancouver Island area. Aiming to volunteer with WorkAway / Woofing and learn some practical skills for self-sufficient living (gardening, construction etc). Also want to explore Vancouver and Victoria cities and meet new people / other travellers!
On a tight budget (student life) so couchsurfing makes sense!
