Overview
About Me
I'm a History student currently studying in Devon, a lovely Southwest county full of beaches, cliffs and moors. I love exploring and being outside - I'm a sucker for nature and always looking for the next landscape or sunset to photograph! My camera travels everywhere with me, so expect lots of photos... I like to create scrapbooks, so these memories are very important to me! Despite my love for the outdoors, there's also nothing I like more than to sit back, relax and have a nice cup of tea and a cake (or a few!).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've joined CS as a means of exploring Poland when I am there as a volunteer for Angloville (http://angloville.com/) this summer. I'm very excited - there's no better way to learn about a new culture than immersing yourself in it! The opportunity to stay with like-minded people in the heart of another country is such a great way to explore the world and make new friends. I would love to travel when I finish studying and I'm sure I will be using CS again in the future as I navigate my way through life!!

Music, Movies, and Books
I love all sorts of music - pop, rock, indie, folk, classical, you name it!... My guilty pleasures are traditional Celtic, medieval English and Nordic folk music.
I have too many favourite movies to name them all! But they include the Harry Potter films, Gladiator, Les Miserables, Django Unchained, One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest and anything with Tom Hardy or Michael Fassbender in!
One of my favourite books is Rebecca by Daphne de Maurier - I love gothic fiction, fantasy, mystery and occasionally psychological thrillers (but not if they're too scary!).
What I Can Share with Hosts
I love cooking (and eating!) and can share my favourite recipes with you; having a meal together is a great way to connect, learn, laugh and share stories. If you happen to need help with anything arts and crafts related, I'd be happy to get involved - I love to paint, sketch and sew, especially when I know it's for other people!
