About Me
June 2019 update: I just arrived in North Brazil, took the slow boat through the Amazon from the Colombian jungle to the Brazilian coast. It was epic. Going to be travelling slowly down the coast towards São Paulo over the next 6 months.
February 2019 update: Colombia is like a magnet and I can’t stay away. Oooops! Back again for Carnaval in Barranquilla and more time in the mountains of Antioquia.
January 2019 update: After 9 months basing my travels in Colombia I am crossing the border to Ecuador. Going to miss arepas and aguardiente. Highlights so far: learning spanish, working on an avocado farm, hiking El Cocuy, taking goats on daily runs and alllll the fresh mountain air.
November 2018 update: Back from two months in Cuba. Strangely spent more time at alternative rock concerts rather than the cliche of salsa and cigars. Did enjoy lots of rum in rocking chairs though and I and super grateful to my cuban mates who welcomed me into their circle. I'm back in Colombia and the epitome of my Shakira pilgrimage in was reached when I saw her live in concert in Bogotá.
