Overview
About Me
I am adventurous, imaginative, enjoy exciting conversations, good books, hot baths, and the company of people who are honest, inspiring and approach life with a sense of awe. Travel stimulates my soul. I only wish I could do more of it ;)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have been using Airbnb for approx. 6 months and I've recently been advised I should get on couchsurfing too... While I work most weekdays, I'm always up for an adventure in the evenings or on the weekend. I'm located just 2.5km away from all of the best boutique shops, bars and resturants that North Adelaide has to over, and only 5km away from the CBD. I'd love to point you in the right direction of what our gorgeous city has to offer, and if I'm free, I'd be more than happy to drop you to nearby spots or show you some of my favourite locations.
Interests
Travel inspires me, I love to read, play/listen to music, and anything that stimulates the mind. I work in a complex mental health environment (across the South Australian Mental Health Hospitals), and love to unwind after a hard / rewarding day with a nice glass of wine, or kicking back listening to a local band, or going on a spontaneous adventure to see where the day takes us.

Music, Movies, and Books
Books! Oh books. I never seem to get enough. My short attention span means my favourites are constantly changing... I'll tell you what my favourite is at the present point in time when we meet!
I adore live music, rock, blues, soul, funk, reggae, it's all just so good. And I love the deeper end of the electronic spectrum when getting into a bit more debauchery, drum and bass, dubstep, anything with a dirty bassline..
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Only one thing? Oh, but there are so many.. I adventured through Colombia solo, without even knowing couchsurfing existed... madness!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I have a great guest bedroom in my beautiful home, just outside of Adelaide CBD. The house is only 2 years old and features 2.7 lofty coffered ceilings with down lights and floor boards in living areas. You have access to the 60 inch television in the main lounge room, or if you prefer to relax after a long day with a book, guests are more than welcome to pick something off of the bookshelf in the smaller, quiet front lounge and curl up for a read.
The gourmet kitchen with dishwasher, gas cooking and lovely breakfast bar may be utilised by guests throughout their stay. There is also reverse cycle heating / cooling to make your visit more comfortable, and a cosy rear yard with deck chairs and a BBQ.
Not only is the room private, but the property is fully enclosed and secure.
The space includes a double bed (towels and sheets provided), and access to all the comforts through the house (including washing machine, dryer, clothes line, big bathtub, full kitchen with all the utensils you need to create a delightful meal, outdoor courtyard with BBQ, and more).
We have a very convenient bus stop just around the corner, and are located a 10 minute walk (or less) to the train stop. Jump on the train and before you know it (approx 5 minutes later) you'll be dropped off right next door to the Casino in the city.
I'm absolutely in love with the city of Adelaide and I'd love to share my knowledge of the sweetest spots to visit while you're here, and help you have a great stay :)
