Overview
About Me
I'm 25 years old, and beginning to start my life travels. I am a very artistic and creative type. I think I am pretty easy going!
Right now my passion is making jewelery and metalsmithing, but I jump around a lot.
Not in California now to host unfortunately, but my couch should become available mid-October!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Friends of mine have used and recommended this site to me and I am using it for the first time as of September 2015. I was told that couch surfing is an intimate and reliable way to stay with people in various cities with a wide variety of folk.
I would love to be a gracious, generous guest to my host and return the favor when I get back to the states in California.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In 2008 I worked very briefly with Habitat for Humanity down in New Orleans rebuilding houses after Hurricane Katrina. I saw some really devastating things in that aftermath... It was very tragic, very eye opening. There were some amazing people there working incredibly hard to help build new houses.
Teach, Learn, Share
I would love to help teach people some skills in drawing or guitar playing. My guitar skills are pretty basic but I can teach some chords. I would be happy to teach English however I can. I could also teach basics in jewelry making techniques, though these techniques sometimes require some tools.
I would love to learn some more Japanese while I'm in Japan, I would love to learn ANYTHING.
I would love to share some crafting and any sort of creative project. I love cooking with people, singing with folks, sharing ideas, writing, sharing stories.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I would love to cook my hosts a meal! I am a vegetarian so this cuisine would not include meat but it would not lack flavor or complexity! Breakfast is definitely a strength- particularly with eggs.
I would also LOVE to share a nice bottle of alcohol, if my hosts drink. I adore cocktails, wines, beer, you name it.
