COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted a few couchsurfers, mostly people from an intentional community I once lived at. I love sharing my home with others, and offering people a chill place to rest.

I love books, and am usually reading at least one fiction and one nonfiction book at any time.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I harvested honey from a bee hive, and was surrounded with buzzing, slightly angry bees. I only got stung once. I ate more honey than any one person should eat in a day, and saved some of the wax. Later I made a candle out of the wax. Probably one of my proudest moments :)

I can teach some basic cooking skills, including making one kind of bread, and all kinds of pie. I also know basic food preservation/fermentation skills, as well as brewing kombucha. I can also teach you the words to any songs that I know... there are a lot.

I love to learn new recipes, and new songs. I love for people to explain history or sciencey things to me.
