Overview
About Me
I have just graduated from university (studied Politics, Philosophy and Economics, focusing on the interplay between politics and ecology) and am now working and living in Cape Town. I'm an an outdoorsy and active person, I love being in nature, hiking, surfing, skateboarding, yoga etc. If you're a surfer, I would love a surfing partner! I love meeting interesting and fun people and am always laughing. I also love art and culture, and am open to self expression of any kind! Cape Town has a cool night life scene and I love live music and techno, as well as outdoor psytrance festivals!
I spent last year backpacking around South and Central America and had some amazing experiences and connections through couch surfer. I now want to give back what I received and show an open minded and fun person an incredible time in this beautiful city! If you're a Spanish speaker that's a bonus- yo necesito un amigo para practicar mi español!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I think the most special part of travelling is to meet and connect with local people, and get to know a place from that perspective.

Music, Movies, and Books
My ultimate favourite band is Radiohead. And then I love a range of music- whatever has lyrics that speak to me or sounds that make me feel something. I love discovering new local music when I travel.
At the moment I have been reading a lot of Carlos Castaneda's books and have been loving it.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hitch hiked, trekked and camped my way over 2000kms in Chilean Patagonia
Teach, Learn, Share
I am a vegetarian and can cook some veggie spins on local South African foods. I can show you hidden nature spots, surf spots and hiking trails and can give great tips for travelling around SA. I can take you for a night out in Cape Town city! I'm currently transforming my garden into a permaculture food growing paradise after completing a 2 week course in Costa Rica, so if you want to learn about urban farming, come stay! I'm also a politics grad with a lot of knowledge on South African politics, history and culture if you want to learn more about it.
