Overview
About Me
I am easy going and typically easy to get along with. I love people and make a habit of trying to be kind and make friends wherever I go. I am taking a break from college traveling, hiking, and just generally enjoying life.Currently living in Penn Valley in Northern California where my family is.
Work hard, play hard is a mentality that I live by. Time is the most valuable thing we are given and I feel as though many people waste it and then are mad when it is gone(myself included). Because of this though I try to make a conscious effort to be present in all things.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I was actually going couch surfing with my friends using my friends account and one of the hosts recommended I make my own account. So although I have no references, I have used CS twice to stay with hosts.
I love couch surfing as a way of traveling. I think it's awesome being able to share your home, make friends with people all over the world and make traveling a people oriented adventure.
I have never hosted using CS, but have always tried to have open arms to people in need of a place to stay. I have host two exchange students from Spain and Catalonia two summers which were amazing experiences.
There are so many wonderful, great, awe-inspiring things to see all around the world, but what makes those memories stick is the people you're with.
Interests
I love adventures and trying new things(traveling, duh). I live in the Sierra Nevada Mountains so I am able to go camping, backpacking, hiking, swimming and lots of outdoorsy things. I have a large family that lives close to me so I spend a lot of time with them which keeps me busy.
I love board games and card games! Playing games is an easy way to make fast friends.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: almost everything (examples: RnB, country, folk, alternative rock).
Books: absolutely love to read and don't go anywhere without a book. I read mostly fiction, anywhere from historical to classics to fantasy.
Movies: I HATE horror movies seeing as they scare the living Christ out of me. I can explain more if we meet, I have logical reasoning. Everything else is fine though.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
This year I completed the Spartan race trifecta.
Teach, Learn, Share
I would love to learn about others culture and to share the one I was raised in.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Hopefully good conversation, a drink or two, and possibly some adventures.
I'm a pretty good cook, so I can easily make you some food! I am pretty crafty also, so if something needs fixing or mending I can help with that too.
