My name is Tessa Rae!

A tesserae is a piece in a mosaic... I think this is a beautiful symbol for our existence as souls. We are all pieces of the greater whole that is life. :)

I am in the process of finding myself... I've been drawn to farming, community living, and living an alternative lifestyle in general. I joined my first farming community at the end of spring, where I stayed for two months.

Well, I didn't have another place lined up when I left, so I've been living in the woods for the past few weeks, as I've been trying to make up my mind of where to go next!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

...Which brings us to here! I am couchsurfing because I want to make friends while traveling.

I want to see more of the world than I have so far; I want to get outside of my comfort zone. I think there is something mysterious and amazing that can take place in the small interactions we as humans can share...

I know a LOT about nutrition and eating healthy on a budget. I can cook!

I have healed many of my own health problems through getting to the root cause and treating it through both physical and emotional means. I believe a doctor's job should be first of all to listen to their patients, and second of all to teach. This is quite a far cry from most western doctors whose main job is prescribing medication to suppress symptoms; symptoms that are indicators of the body seeking to find balance again.

I am also very skilled at dream interpretation, and do 'soul' oracle readings. If you're interested just say the word, I love delving into the subconscious :)

I am very good with animals, especially cats!
