About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Live. Breathe.
ABOUT ME
I grew up in a a very small central Washington town. I caught the traveling bug when I studied abroad in college. After college I moved to Seattle and started working in law. I'm still working in law, but I'm starting grad school in the fall for a Master of Public Health degree. I hope to use that degree to develop nutrition and sex ed programs for communities both domestically and abroad.
I live with my girlfriend, which is a pretty sweet deal because I am a good cook and she has a car. We really like traveling together, though we are Pacific Northwesterners at heart.
PHILOSOPHY
I believe in people. I like to see people as beings with amazing potential for creativity, who each have something valuable to offer whether it be art, philosophy, leadership, or even just an open heart.
Interests
I enjoy tea, reading, cozy sweaters, racquetball, hiking, and theater.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: Forrest Gump is my favorite.
Music: My childhood was somewhat music-less, so my taste in it is still rather underdeveloped. But I'll give anything a shot, as long as it's not just misogyny and/or patriarchy in song form.
Books: 1984, The Good Earth, Harry Potter, Shogun, Woman: An Intimate Geography, anything by C.S. Lewis, Pride and Prejudice, Little Women, The Adventures of Tom Sawyer, Copenhagen, Oliver Twist, Matilda, The Godfather, Cunt: A Declaration of Independence, A Tale of Two Cities, Hamlet, Twelfth Night...
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm open to learning any of your cherished recipes, or how to fix just about anything.
If you want, I can teach you how to tell if your boss is just a jerk or someone you should sue, or how to bake a delicious apple pie, or how to string up a bear bag.
