I've just arrived in Italy to do a PhD in environmental sciences and policy. I'm interested to meet likeminded people and get to know the area more. I am living in a small town near lake Maggiore called Ispra.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Its not so easy to get around this area (especially without a car!) so I'm interested to stay at other peoples houses and get more of a feel for the surrounding areas.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Wow this part makes me realise how I need to do more amazing things... hiking Huayna Potosi in La Paz was pretty special! Also hiking the South Coast track and Mallacoota to Eden in Australia... amazing!
