About Me
Hey there! I'm super new to this community but looking to travel a lot more in the coming months. I'm very outgoing and love to make new experiences, meet new people and have good conversations. I like to listen to stories and learn from people. I'm originally from Germany but live in London right now studying Film Production. I was also an Exchange Student with Rotary when I was 16 and lived in Kansas for a year.
Obviously I'm very much into film but I'm also an avid reader and writer.
Unfortunatly can't host guests at the moment as there isn't even room for an airbed on the floor of my dorm - Would definitly love to once I have the space. :) I‘m moving in September so hopefully I‘ll be able to then.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to meet people from the places I'm travelling to, not just see the tourist side of the country/city.

Music, Movies, and Books
My favorite music is Indie/Alternative but I also like Pop, Hip-Hop, Rock and other stuff. There's a record shop super close to where I live that always puts on the most amazing gigs for super cheap so I've seen a lot of my fav artists live which is sick! (I also had an unhealthy obsession with One Direction and Taylor Swift when I was younger and still remember every lyric in every song.)
I know there are some high expectations for my film taste as I study it but I'm sorry to report that I have seen neither Citizen Kane NOR Pulp Fiction. My favorite Genre is definitely Comedy - it's also what I want to go into professionally - and some of my favorite films are Ferris Buellers Day Off, What We Do In The Shadows, Lady Bird, The Favourite and Booksmart. I have also seen the film Ratatouille at least ten times.
My favorite book forever and always: Harry Potter. Other favs include: It's Kind Of A Funny Story, Where Things Come Back, The Great Gatsby, Kill The Boy Band and Looking For Alaska.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Probably taking the risk and moving abroad for University: Best. Decision. Ever.
Also the other day someone gave me Shia Labeoufs number (with proof of authenticity) and I drunk texted him something and he replied with a one minute video of a wasp chilling with reggae music in the background and then blocked me.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you some basic German if you teach me your coolest party trick.
What I Can Share with Hosts
In general, I'd like to share some positivity and good energy :) If you have time I'd love to hang out with you, cook for/with you (I'm vegetarian transitioning to veganism), go out for drinks or get to see your favorite spots but no worries if you can't.
