We are recently married, embarking on a year long trip around the world. Tessa is a scuba instructor, boat captain, photographer and yoga/fitness instructor. Nick is an industrial sales specialist and musician.

Couchsurfing is a great way for us to meet locals in all the places we plan to visit. We are planning on spending a year to travel around the world, so it is also a great resource to help us stretch our dollar!

We sailed from New Zealand to Fiji in 2016 with Tessa's dad. It was a 7-day open ocean journey on a 65ft. sailboat. It was Nick's first time ever sailing, and both our first time sailing in such bad weather! Read all about it on Tessa's blog post:
