Hi there!

I'm Tessa, I'm from the Netherlands and my home base is Amsterdam. However, I'm currently living in Seville for a couple months for the purposes of experiencing life abroad, learning a new language etc. I really love learning Spanish and I'm going to continue in Amsterdam for sure. I haven't finished studying, in fact I've got a few years ahead of me. However, I am qualified to teach English (hit me up if you need help!) and languages in general are a true joy for me, I could spend a lovely Saturday evening with my nose in a grammar book.

Of course there's more to life than studying language. I am fond of all sorts of cultural expression as well (tip: go to Seville and eat your heart out). I like music, though I'm not the talented kind myself (yet). While we're on things I can't do: dancing belongs there as well. I'm in awe of las españolas with their smooth movements, that is definitely not an inborn talent for Dutchies. I like cuisine, but must add that there's só much left to try for me. I am a huge nature and animal lover, hard to walk past a dog/cat without petting. In the Netherlands I love visiting the beach. The best experience is on horseback, but sometimes you have to settle. Ah, and I like to go out for some beers (or wines, or...) obviously.

This is my first solo 'travel' (I just flew here and now I'm living here, so hardly traveling) but it feels good. In the future I would like to see many more countries and meet new friends worldwide. When I'm back in Amsterdam, I would like to host some like-minded people every now and then. For now: enjoy your travels!
