ABOUT ME

I like to stay for a while in a new place, learn the language, make real friends, get involved somehow, but I get itchy feet after a year. I love Latin America and just spent another 5 month period exploring it, but for the next trip I long to visit Asia (watch this space for 2014...) I like to dance - semi-seriously or drunkenly and looking like an idiot - I like to eat, and I need sunshine to survive (hence running away from England on a fairly regular basis). I also very much like people, and having my mind opened to new ideas and challenges. Too cheesy? If Colombia taught me anything it's that you can never have too much cheese...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Getting lost in the jungle of Palenque then finally finding my way out to stunning Mayan ruins hidden in the depths of the forest. Just saw Garganta del Diablo at Iguazu Falls which was breath-taking.
