About Me

ABOUT ME

My best friends would probably say that I am an awesome cook! They'd probably also say that I am energetic, a travel freak and that I sometimes talk too much! I have also been accused of being a PS3 addict, but that still needs to be verified! Judging from the writing so far, you'd probably guess that I am a lawyer, and you'd be right; my best friends are still not convinced that I am one though!

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that everyone on this planet has a natural goodness about him or herself. I always try to see that first, and then everything else about that person becomes secondary! If I don't see it, well..... :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

10 - 13 February 2012 I had my VERY FIRST Couch Surfer, from Malaysia! The experience was awesome! I signed up early in February 2012, and I hope to host many more surfers visiting the "friendly city" of Port Elizabeth, South Africa! And I certainly will be doing some surfing myself!

Interests

I enjoy playing and watching tennis. I also enjoy athletics, cricket and volleyball. I enjoy spending time with kids who are under-privileged, and I have a very good relationship with the SOS Kinderdorf in Port Elizabeth. I enjoy reading and traveling.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy a variety of music, book genres and movies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of my most memorable moments was watching Roger Federer and Raphael Nadal play LIVE at the Monte Carlo Masters Tournament in Monaco in 2007! And having a chat with Russian star Marat Safin! I also enjoyed the vibrant atmosphere in Cape Town during the Fifa Wold Cup in 2010!

Teach, Learn, Share

We can only grow AFTER we've realised that we are not alone on this planet, and that we can only realise our full potential after acknowledging the existence of others!! An African philosophy sums this up beautifully - UBUNTU!!

Countries I’ve Visited

Bangladesh, Benin, France, Italy, Kenya, Monaco, Netherlands, South Sudan, Switzerland, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In

Switzerland
