ABOUT ME

Hey there are two of us traveling (currently around Europe.) My name is Tess, I am 25 and Australian. I met my boyfriend Dane in Byron Bay where he had been living and we then spent a further six months there living a tent.Some of the best times of both our lives. Dane is 20 and English but he lived in Australia for 19 months and we have been together over a year now. We decided to travel around Europe and are now concentrating on Eastern Europe as we know little about it and wish to learn about the culture. We have also been told it is extremely beautiful and a little different to the much more touristy travel destinations.

PHILOSOPHY

Neither of us are religious but both believe in a higher being whether that be energy, spirits or a single omnipotent power. I guess the mystery is intriguing and not being able to define it is part of the fun. I don't think we are here by accident although evolution tends to explain some things.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have stayed in a few places but are still new to it all really. As we don't have a house we have nowhere to offer anybody to stay at the moment but as soon as we settle down we can't wait to be able to return the kindness that has been shown to us so far on our adventures and meet some new and interesting people.

Interests

We both have a huge interest in nature and documentary's. We also both have a real appreciation of stand-up Comedy. Tess writes and performs her own stand-up comedy as well as hoping to write her own television comedy shows. Tess also loves to hula hoop and loves to exchange tricks.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Traveled around the world as much as we can afford.
highlight of this current trip since June 2013 is Awitzerland.
Highlight of my time (Dane) in australia is Byron Bay although I travalled the majority of the country i felt most at home here at the arts factory hostel where we both lived for several months in the campground.
