I am obsessed with sports, and especially with extreme sports. I like travelling, and I have been searching for possibilities to do so for some time now. A geographer by education and state of mind.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing gives you the opportunity to travel by not only going from one city to another, it gives the opportunity to get a feel for the city by speaking with locals. I think it's great! People who trust each other like in this way are very open-minded. I think it is always interesting to talk with such people.

Interests

I like everything connected with sports. I played on my university's volleyball team, and have been playing table tennis for more than eight years. In general, I like an active lifestyle (hiking, cycling, desirably at high speeds in the mountain or in the forest). This is one part of my life.
The second part is a passion for psychology, especially the psychology of gestures and emotions. Besides, the books by Dale Carnegie are the most useful things I have ever read.
Geography student, studying physical geography, cartography and GIS (geographic information system) at Kharkiv National University. Experienced in Photoshop and interested in graphic design.

Music: Everything! I am still searching for my favorite music.
Movies: «Peaceful Warrior», «The Imitation Game».
Serials: «Black Mirror» «Sherlock», «Lie to me», «Elementary», «HOUSE M. D», «Game of Thrones».
Books: Stefan Zweig is my favorite writer, I especially like «Schachnovelle» and «The World of Yesterday». Dan Millman «Way of the Peaceful Warrior» and at the same time the whole series of books «A Song of Ice and Fire» by George Martin. Psychology books by Paul Ekman, Allan Pease and Dale Carnegie.

Teach, Learn, Share

My English is far from perfect, but I am still learning. I can practice Russian or Ukrainian with you. I also can teach you how to play volleyball or table tennis, and explain the basics of Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator. Share knowledge about psychology.
