Hello!

I have decided to venture into the world of solo travelling! I'm very excited to see how much this will push me outside my comfort zone and allow to meet new people .

I view myself as an outgoing and friendly person. I also have the tendency to be a teeny bit loud and over talkative so feel free to tell me to quite down anytime.

I was an executive in the Outdoors Club at my University which allowed me to meet people from all over the world so I'm quite excited to be the one this time who is travelling to new places and meeting awesome people!

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

Last year I tried out couch surfing for the first time while backpacking through Europe with a friend. It was such an amazing experience! I met some pretty awesome and interesting people along the way who I am still in contact with! I think couch surfing is a great way to meet people from all over the world and learn more about the place that I am in.

I love being outdoors. Anything from hiking, running , biking ,climbing or kayaking.

I am also a huge tea lover as in sometimes I call it my tea addiction. So I love sharing stories and getting to know people over a good, hot cup of tea.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I am a huge fan of a good book with a warm cup of tea. I love mysteries and horror like Stephen King which actually makes me not want to go to sleep. I love classic adventure stories like Jules Verne's Journey to the Center of the World. Fantasy is also a favourite of mine so both Lord of the Rings trilogy (and the Hobbit ) and Harry Potter will always be a favourite.

My friends say I have the most random taste in music ever meaning I pretty much like anything. I love Indie so anything from the Mowgli's, Of Monsters and Men , the Royal Concept and the Black Keys. I'm a huge fan of the classics so ACDC, Michael Jackson, the Beatles, and even the Spice Girls. Also as a proud Canadian I love me some country music.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Two years ago I went ice climbing for the first time and it was the most epic thing I've ever done. I remember that moment when I first got the hang of it .It's not everyday that you climb a frozen waterfall. It's still one of the coolest things I've done .
