Why I’m on Couchsurfing
In my leisure time, I work in a volunteer bar for charities. In this bar, called Averechts, each last Friday of the month also drink meetings for couchsurfers are organized by the local couchsurfers' ambassador. Come and have a drink
Most earlier couchsurfing experience I have had in Thailand/South East Asia, where because i did not wanted to travel alone, I hired cheap beach bungalows and invited other couchsurfers for free to party at Full Moon Parties.
At the moment i live alone with my cat in a house sized for a family. Therefore is a cousy private room for guests available. I live near the historic city centre, about 15 minutes by foot, but only 5 minutes by bike.

-Playing a hide-and-seek game in the Ikea with friends (25-45 years old)
-Driving with a car in Bangkok city centre, crazy traffic over there, but having the feeling like flying between the skyscrapers while driving over the upper level express-way.
-I have been an academic researcher / Phd. student to happiness, life satisfaction and quality of life. Very interesting research topic. However, i became not happy myself of doing academic research very lonely in a room at the university, so i did not complete my Phd. thesis.
