About Me
I know it says I've been on here since 2012, but that's only partially true.
I lived in Berlin in 2012 and I was looking for affordable accommodations in Munich for Oktoberfest. I ended up staying with some friends instead and basically forgot all about couchsurfing.
My boyfriend reintroduced me and we've decided to open our couches (and air mattress) for use. I currently work at a German Bakery near downtown Orlando, so our house usually has an abundance of bread and other baked goods we don't sell at the end of the day, so you'll probably get lucky enough to try some German Schnecke.
I just graduated with a Bachelor's in Anthropology from UCF and my next step is getting a Master's in it. I've spent the last 4 years studying archaeology and I've had the wonderful opportunity of traveling all over the world working at different excavations ranging from mesolithic (10k years ago) to late medieval Romania (about 1500CE).

Music, Movies, and Books
I love Requiem for a Dream and Love Actually. I've always been bad at listing my favorites.
I read fantasy and autobiographical books. I love Augusten Burroughs, Tamora Pierce, and so many others. My current obsession is Robin Hobb.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have climbed the Great Wall of China.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you about the digging process, if you're interested. I can tell you about some ancient or modern cultures because my interest overlaps in both! Anthropology encompasses everything human related, so let's engage about anything.
What I Can Share with Hosts
If you let me know before hand, I can bring you dough for cookies or make you some bread.
Otherwise, stories are always shareable.
