ABOUT ME

I work with urban market gardeners in the poor areas of Cape Town, South Africa. Before this I lived in the bush of Limpopo doing ag research, I dabled in geology and film production.

PHILOSOPHY

I live my life to love, mainly by living in harmony with people and nature.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I go to local CS parties, dinners, and barhops as often as possible to connect in my community and see what other people are doing with life and where they've been.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've mostly surfed in Mexico, and every time it has been surprising how similar we are as people of very different nations.

Interests

I love science fiction. I enjoy writing and thinking. Exploring is in my blood and takes the form of hiking, road trips, and riding public transit.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

WWOOFing on a farm with Mexican hippies in Tepoztlán near the birthplace of Quetzalcoatl and the ruined temple of Tepozteco.

Backpacking for a month in the Southern Appalachians, bagging 30/40 6000 ft peaks and completing 400 miles.

Spending three days in Molas Pass, Colorado camping, hiking, and doing geology field work.
