About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Finding myself in others

ABOUT ME

I'm really laid-back, easygoing, and I love good food and good beer. I am an aspiring documentary filmmaker and a semi-professional musician. "Semi-professional" means that I rarely get paid, and I do it a lot.

PHILOSOPHY

Everything really is interconnected. I'm talking scientifically. The beauty of existence is that atoms are constantly encountering new atoms to create new and wonderful things. Because we're made of the same stuff as the rest of the universe, we, people, are infinitesimally small but at the same time infinite. We have always existed, in one form or another, and we always will.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Hopefully, I will be staying on your couch one day. If you want to come to Clarkston, you will definitely be staying on mine!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I met some of Kyle's surfers. Seemed like pretty cool dudes.

Interests

Music, Movies, HBO shows. I've recently become impassioned with Geology, of all things. Understanding the way the world works is vital to understanding ourselves as people.

Music, Movies, and Books

music: surf rock and powerpop is what I play (my bands are called el fossil and the north trolls, respectively. look us up!). Really everything except dubstep can be found in my music library. Outkast is still the best rap ever.

movies: documentary film has changed my life.

books: whatever I can get my hands on while I'm on the road.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Laos.

Teach, Learn, Share

I play the guitar and the bass guitar and the piano. I have a piano, but it's really old, so it might be out of tune. I know a lot of things about a lot of things, and I'm happy to share them all with you.

Countries I’ve Visited

Cambodia, Costa Rica, Czech Republic, Hungary, Laos, Thailand, Viet Nam

Countries I’ve Lived In

United States
