Overview
About Me
I am an American English teacher currently living in Barranquilla, Colombia. I am able to communicate in Spanish, but don't consider myself fluent.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I enjoy sharing my city with visitors. When I travel, I often travel alone, so it’s a lot more fun to have people to share adventures with.
I've hosted several times and surfed in various countries around the world, and every single experience has been awesome!
I can't often host during the week, but would love to show you around during the weekends!
Interests
I enjoy lots of different things, but traveling (duh), cooking and enjoying good food, nature (especially anything involving the ocean, a lake, or a river), gardening, reading, and playing with my five year old son definitely top the list.

Music, Movies, and Books
Constantly changing. Besides, if I told you here, what would we have to talk about later?
Okay, my favorite book doesn't change that much. It's "To Kill a Mockingbird".
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have to pick ONE? I guess I'll pick hiking the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu in Peru. But there is a lot of competition!
Teach, Learn, Share
I love this! The best part of hosting a couchsurfer is the chance to learn a bit about them and their culture while showing off your own city/country/culture!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I’m a pretty good cook, and I like to think I’m a good conversationalist, as well.
Countries I’ve Visited
Austria, Belize, Colombia, Dominican Republic, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, New Zealand, Panama, Peru, Switzerland, United Kingdom
