I work in my church, go on mission trips, lead groups, Starting an organic community garden, hikes parts of the AT, kayak river near by, dance to the sound of my own dummer , walk the paths around Biltmore Forrest, and get as much vitimin D as I can possibiliy get by being outside. This summer I've planned camping trips on the Tn boarder, and River trip on the French Broad. I've a few trips to the West coasts. I guess you could say I"m sharing my life with as many people as I can and some of my old friends. I am a member of several Yahoo meet up groups around asheville and enjoy the life I am living come and join me~

Music, Movies, and Books

“A Walk in the Wood” by: Bill Bryson. It was the funnies real life story that depicts the spirit of man at his best, worst and funniest in my neck of the woods and that would be the Appalachian Trail, or as some would say ATC The humor of Bill’s adventure with his old college buddy reminds me the years I spent, in the Army leaning how to manage in the woods and most of it was not fun, but what I did learn was the easy way Mother Nature listens to the human spirit. This is when I developed an appreciation of God's handy work. On several occasions I would wonder “Why am I doing this?” I told myself in 1993, if I ever get out of this US Army I will see as much of the woods my way.A And, true to my word here I am in Asheville, NC but my adventure for the woods doesn't stop in Asheville.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Bragging not my style, and I will list things I have given my life to, first and formost Jesus Christ. And, prior to that I was a solider for 16 yrs. started out as WAG , when the women's and men's army joined, I became a miltary police Officer, with airborn wings (skydiving). Lived in Germany, been to several countries, and want to do more missionary work in Latin America. I've traved across the USA 16 times, with friends, not " Fear and Lothing in Las Vegas" but lots of laughter and good fun. It's all how you plan the trip. I've been to the Carribian, St Thomas my favorite, family in Puerto Rico, and San Luisa, like I said I don't like to brag, so I am stopping here.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have spend a good deal of my life learning and teaching others, mostly family and children who were in need of Family Preservation. My life long journey includes learning over time. What keeps the journey moving forward is communication. Leaning to communication is a passion of mine since high school. After all what is communication for? To encourage others.
