About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To seek and to find, and to help others along the way.

ABOUT ME

I was born in Lancaster, PA, but I've lived in Maryland my entire life. I enjoy finding myself in a strange and new place.

PHILOSOPHY

Find the voice within and follow it. Only it will be your guide.
To quote someone else: "Know thyself." and "To thine own self be true."

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I provide housing and guidance for anyone passing through my area.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have only surfed three times: once in St. Louis, MO, with a lovely girl named Katie, once in Omaha, NE, with two wonderful individuals named Jim and Miranda, and once in Houston, TX, with a gentleman named Isaias.

Interests

I am a writer at heart. That being the case, I feel a bit "heavy" when I stay in one place for too long. This explains my appetite for travel and my craving for the new and unusual. I am fascinated by the religions of the world, all of them. The myriad ways that human beings usher themselves into union with the divine will always call to me.
I love music. I love to travel, to read, and to write.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Anything by Wes Anderson, Alfred Hitchcock, or Darren Aronofsky.
Music: Bright Eyes, Clint Mansell, Nick Drake, Elliott Smith, Pink Floyd, The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, The Album Leaf, Yoshida Brothers, Manchester Orchestra, the list goes on...
Books: F. Scott Fitzgerald, Kerouac, Linda Hogan, Ray Bradbury, many more.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The sunset over the Grand Canyon, a migrating heard of Buffalo in Wyoming, the first snow of my last winter at St. Mary's College of Maryland was very powerful.

I witnessed some kind of exorcism in a small stone hut in Gramphoo (population 10) in Northern India.
