About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To help anyone who can use it.

ABOUT ME

I grew up in Indiana, studied, traveled, and then transplanted to St.Louis. I bought the house with my friend Liz in May 2016.

I've found St. Louis is a very underrated city, it just takes time to dig in and understand it. The city has strong diversity, many free events and a long history to explore.

PHILOSOPHY

Improve your world, moderation in everything, and always keep your eyes open.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I surf, I host, I preach the good word of couchsurfing.

Also love the rare couchsurfing meetup. Check them out.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Went around Lake Michigan, SE Asia, and a few other places, and met some wonderfully friendly and helpful people.

I've also hosted dozens of people here in St Louis.

Interests

Woodworking, Backpacking, Geocaching, Bike touring, gardening, dancing, board games, ultimate frisbee, foosball... I find too many things interesting, and will make a competition out of any of them.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love sci fi books and movies, anything that makes you think in new ways.

Music...every situation calls for something different, but I like instrumental hip hop and psychedelic rock. Amazon Music does a good job.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I saved a pair of newlyweds from a riptide once.

Teach, Learn, Share

Happy to help you troubleshoot your plant problems or computer problems, or identify your trees. I could teach you to backpack like a pro, or tie your shoes faster, or juggle if you have time and patience for it.

I could teach you aseptic manufacturing technique!

What I Can Share with Hosts

You're welcome to raid the fridge, really.

I have two bikes you can use.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Canada, Fiji, Greece, Hungary, Macedonia, Malaysia, Poland, Singapore, Thailand

Countries I’ve Lived In

Australia, United States
