About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To live a life more than just breathing
ABOUT ME
I am originally from Southern California, but currently live in Seattle. I have various and diverse passions. I enjoy learning and experiencing new things. I like to hike, climb, enjoy the outdoors, and discover new places I've never seen before. I am also an amazing karaoke singer, and recently an avid reader. Laughing with a bunch of friends is one of my favorite things to do when I'm not dreaming my life away. I'm not what people expect of me, and I think that's what makes me unique.
PHILOSOPHY
Create understanding by engaging in dialogue.
I have a strong vendetta against discrimination and stereotyping. I believe the best way to squash all of this is by engaging in dialogue and taking the time to walk beside another people. Just sayin'. It changed me.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I started up a CS account in 2008, but haven't been active on it until September of 2012. My goal is to be a more active member.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
No couchsurfing experience just yet... unless you count my co-worker letting me stay on her couch for two months while I was finding a new place to live.

I rafted the Nile in Uganda. To me that is amazing.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach: I am a quasi expert in refugees and refugee resettlement. This might not seem exciting, but when you go deep into it many things are revealed about our world.
Learn: When I travel I want to learn about the hidden thing of the village/city/country. I want to learn why you love where you live.
Share: Sharing is caring.
