ABOUT ME

I'm a 22 year-old college student. I like lots of things, but no single interest really occupies all my time. Traveling, latin and swing dancing, old time fiddle music and bluegrass, giant-scale RC airplanes and helicopters, basketball, other cultures.

Academically, I'm pursuing a bachelor's in Molecular and Cellular Biology, minoring in Chem. Thing is, I don't know what to do after college yet. I have a few more months before I have to get serious about it.

PHILOSOPHY

I like the things that make me wonder and marvel. I like to feel smaller than the world and the universe. Thinking about life is heavy until you get comfortable with ambiguity.

"Men are that they might have joy." By trial and error, I'm figuring out what things will bring me joy. It's a work in progress, but I'm learning to be patient.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I met a few people via CS while I was in Europe this summer and it made the trip so much more personal and interesting. I want to provide the same experience to visitors.

I flew a Stearman biplane.

Went to the running of the bulls in Pamplona Spain and survived (didn't actually run, just referring to the sanitary conditions of town).

Traveled with a boys choir all over the world. Performed in a cave, Notre Dame, and best of all, on a recording of Kristof Penderecki's "Credo," which won a Grammy.
