About Me

Citizen of the world, animal lover, knowledge seeker and daydreaming to become a traveller soon enough. Smile on, bitterness off, adventures are welcome anytime. I can run through the storm but I also know how to sit in the lull. Roller coasters scare me, steady hands enchant me. Show me your kindness and I'll show you mine :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Thanks to an exchange program, it was given to me the opportunity to study abroad. So here I am, living an entire different reality, and trying to find couches that allow me to live some more new ones around the world.
I also love to meet new people, so my home is open for couchsurfing too.

Interests

Food (c'mon, who doesn't like to eat hun?), music, cute pets (dog person over here o/), different cultures, write, books, languages, movies, nice life stories told by good story tellers, friends, lots of laughter, dance my legs off, life.

Music, Movies, and Books

I can't choose a favorite song because it would be World War III in my heart, but I will whisper these bands hoping the other ones don't listen: Arctic Monkeys and The Killers. Music styles that I like: pretty much everything, with a big crush for indie rock and old stuff.
The Harry Potter saga will be my favorite always (books and movies).
"Dom Casmurro", a fantastic book written in the 19th century by an amazing Brazilian writer called Machado de Assis, is my favorite (besides HP series).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I flew up to 30 thousand feet during an entire day/night without having a heart attack (yeah, I'm afraid of heights. Ok, I climbed a mountain later, but that's a story for another day).

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach Portuguese, how to cook "brigadeiro", Brazilian typical dance styles and some bad words too. I'd like to learn my host's or guest's native language and anything that they feel like teaching. I can share a pint of beer and a dance floor.

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, Czech Republic, England, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Morocco, Netherlands, Poland, Scotland, Spain

Countries I’ve Lived In
