I am a french student at McGill University where i am studying political science and history. I grew up in Versailles in France with my parents and my 3 brothers, 2 older and 1 younger. I am the only girl and it is great !! I am really close to each member of my family and they are all very important to me. My brothers make me laugh and protect me. I really respect my parents for the cohesion, solidarity and love that they succeeded to spread in the fam!
It was when i was in high school that my interests for politics and history increased so i decided that i will become a diplomat. I am a very curious and questioning girl who is endlessly willing to learn things.
I love talking with people and sharing experiences or knowledge. I like when my parents or grandparents tell me how it was to live when they were younger.

Also, I love food!! But only with good products. I prefer eating local and organic products and I could spend my entire weekend looking for THE place where to brunch, have coffee or have diner with friends.

I am a "bon vivant" as we say in french, I enjoy life with good friends, good food in amazing places. I often go shopping in thrift shops to find authentic and unique clothes with which I identify myself. lol

As I am very keen on travelling, discovering new people, landscapes, places, food and ways of life, my ultimate dream would be to do a world tour and without taking the plane once. Crazy isn't it? But I am determined to realize it. Speaking about this, I may be one of the most persevering person you could ever meet. It has his advantages as well as his drawbacks, when I might be a bit too single-minded ...

Lastly, I am generous, tolerant and broad minded. I never judge anybody but I like to analyse them. My secret dream was to become a therapist. So I am patient and understanding. I could spend hours with friends who tell me about their lives, struggles and thoughts.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on couch surfing because i find it unbearable to travel without meeting people that live there in their daily life as you could do by staying in a boring hotel. I want to be part of the routine of people who continue to enjoy their life even if i am here, who tell me where to go, what to do, and even bring me with them to show me secret places. How is it possible to visit a country or a city without having the background anecdotes given by the real people of the real life ? and not by a touristic flyer !

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite music are the one that make me dance and release all the tension i have accumulated by my studies.
Watching movies and listening to music are means for me to relax and have fun, to get away of everyday life and reawaken senses that were asleep before ...
I love movies during which I cry and a few minutes later I laugh. It makes me fell good and living.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went for a month in north vietnam in a small ethnic village called Ta Phin in the paddy fields to help them build tracks to link the houses with each other. It was a benevolent and charitable trip that offered me the chance to meet wonderful and loving people, who had nothing but gave me everything. We introduced the families also to how and why to pick up garbage on the ground and put them in bamboo dustbin hand-made by us!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I started to be kind of vegan/veggie 2 years ago because I found that I was in better shape when eating more vegetables and fruits rather than beef or chicken.
I like to buy my food in organic groceries where I am sure to always find what I was looking for to entertain my palate ...
I am also a runner who runs minimum 4 times a week in the morning to have a fresh start for the day !
