About Me
Oiiie! Hello! Hola! Salut! ☺️☺️
My name is Thaís, I’m kindergarten teacher in Brazil. I really love what I do and I’m always trying to study and learn new things to do my best.
I’m a very determined person. I believe that if we really want something, we can do it. Doesn’t matter how hard it can be!
So, giving up is not an option for me.
There is nothing more enriching than traveling and meeting new people. This is one of my passions. Traveling for me is a life school. We learn about differences, respect, sharing. We learn much more about ourselves. Who am I? What are my limits? How far can I go? From these and many other questions we are always gonna get the answers when we are traveling, even more when traveling alone.
I love to be in the mountains - hiking, trekking, camping and adventures in general. I love this as much as I like sports. Running, working out, cycling and volleyball are my favorites.
Easy going, talkative (I love to talk! When I’m too quiet, probably something is wrong with me), super friendly, caring and really honest. Most of the time I’m smiling, happy and trying to see the good side of the things. 😌
Life is always a beautiful surprise. That’s why I like to enjoy all of the times in my life as they were the last. ✨
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Great opportunity to meet people, share experiences and enjoy amazing times.
Music, Movies, and Books
I’m really eclectic. No problems with music at all.
I love to listen to music and dance. If you come with me to the party, we are probably gonna dance all night long. 😅
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One of the most amazing things I’ve done was volunteering in a school for blind people. Definitely has taught me how to see the world with “other eyes”. People can be much stronger than we could even imagine. It was a volunteer with children who were between 3 - 10 years old and it was a life lesson in a personal and in a profissional way for me.
I automatically changed the way I was teaching my students and dealing with people in general.
Teach, Learn, Share
Sharing is something really interesting. We learn much more when we are sharing with people. Sharing ideas, sharing opinions, sharing experiences of life.
So, I’d absolutely love to share different things I had experienced in my life and listen to what people did as well.
