About Me

CURRENT MISSION

'somehow I'll find my way home'

ABOUT ME

I am a Breslauer! Although I have lived in Poznań almost my whole life, my ID still says: Wrocław, and I'm proud of it. I love Poland although no other country can make me as furious as my own (if you haven't already, check "Nie pytaj o Polskę" (Don't ask about Poland) by the Polish band Republika (The Republic, duh)). I also enjoy people, parties and the lot, of course not all the time... They tell me I have too many friends, and that is true, there are so many nice people around me that I often feel guilt about not being able to meet them all all the time. I'm madly in love with Scandinavia and enjoying my work as programmer, specifically Embedded Systems Programming; it is a shame I can't do more with languages at the moment, because they are my other undying love. I used to translate and teach English - but I don't any more. What else can I say? I have a pretty wacky family, they're the meanest - and the most lovable and caring - bunch I've ever met, which does explain why I am what I am. And a LOTTA cousins, too.

PHILOSOPHY

My personal philosophy is to be helpful to people - works most of the time. For the rest, as my cousin used to say, 'take a bigger hammer' ;)
Now seriously, I'm Christian, and trying to take the whole 'be a good guy' routine seriously, at which I fail miserably most of the time but hey, you do get points for tryin'... Do you? If you don't, things are looking pretty bad for me ;)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

lived in an apartment I didn't know would be so luxurious, at Regent's Terrace near Arthur's Seat in Edinburgh - the view and experience was breathtaking ; I guess more amazing stuff is to come...

Teach, Learn, Share

I could teach people languages or more generally, linguistics; I even used to :)
I generally like to help out in various things, I used to teach some maths as well and I enjoyed it.

I like to motivate, but I am not always successful at that.

I love... yes, you guessed it - learning languages! And I'd like to learn to climb finally. Photograph, maybe, if I have the time. Cook, too. Oh! I'd love to learn to play the guitar properly, and take some lessons in singing.
